Commercial Observer named Kate Mooney, senior associate in capital markets at Alterra IOS, to its 2026 Power Young Professionals list. Since joining the firm in 2025 after roles at EQT Real Estate and WSFS Bank, Mooney has helped facilitate more than $600 million in debt across the platform — including $244 million in acquisition financing from Blackstone Real Estate Debt Strategies for the purchase of 37 IOS properties, and a $150 million loan facility in funds managed by Blue Owl Capital.

Mooney also helped lead PGIM to its first investment in the IOS sector in March — a $103 million credit facility secured by 23 sites across 18 markets — part of a broader wave of institutional lender confidence in industrial outdoor storage driven by low vacancy, constrained land supply, and high tenant demand.
